Dr. Hanrahan, MBA, Principle  is a principal based in Houston in the health industries advisory practice with PwC and focuses his efforts nationally and internationally on strategic & master planning, clinical operating model development, EMR, HIE, and  PMO development, as well as implementation related to enablement of new facilities. Larry has worked with more than 60 major organizations including more than 30 academic medical centers in 12+ countries throughout the world.  Larry was an appointed Workgroup Member (EHR Adoption & Consumer Engagement) for the Texas Health Services Authority (THSA) as part of the Governor’s Statewide Collaborative Planning Process for the health information exchange (HIE) and a Consultant to the Council of Graduate Medical Education (GME) of the Texas Medical Association. Additionally, he is an Instructor in Health Facility Development at the University of Houston (Clear Lake) Master of Hospital Administration program

David L. Morgareidge Principle RTKL
David is the global service leader for RTKL’s Operational Modeling and
Simulation work.  His undergraduate degree is in Architecture from UC Berkeley and he has  practiced in Europe and the US.  He began using simulation tools in the
late 70′s.
David’s career focus has been either on the use of simulation tools or
the development and management of the digital virtual design environment
that supports them.  He has managed the design automation environment
for a design build firm (The Haskell Company) and served as the CIO of
an architectural engineering firm (Reynolds, Smith and Hills).
David worked at Children’s Medical Center Dallas for 5.5 years before
joining RTKL and founding the Operational Modeling and Simulation
service line in support of the healthcare sector.  He has lectured on
his work at universities and national and international conferences.

 

Tom Koulouris, MBA PWC  has an extensive background in hospital operations throughout all departments including clinical and non-clinical operations, strategic planning, budgeting, due diligence studies, and capital project development and execution.  His two core skill sets include a deep understanding of all facets of the Design and Construction of Healthcare Facilities; and secondly as a hospital administrator. Tom fully understands the key concepts driving operations which lead to capital investments.  As a General Contractor and former senior construction manager with HCA, Tom has developed and practiced many key components of driving down project costs.  He is able to recognize opportunities for hospitals to grow their business by streamlining operations thru process improvement, competition in the market place, and achieving optimum results on growth oriented projects. Tom has been actively involved with the start up of Greenfield hospitals, including one field hospital in Haiti, and more than 100 major hospital expansions. Tom has provided services to many providers in establishing processes and controls, and speaks regularly on design and construction related issues in our healthcare industry.

University of Miami, Project Medishare Field Hospital in Haiti; and was the senior most field officer responsible for the largest operating hospital in Port-au-Prince Haiti, post earthquake.

Prior to University of Miami Hospital Haiti, Tom was the Senior Executive for Parsons focusing on consulting with hospital clients. He also co-owned and operated a consulting firm focusing on capital growth projects and hospital operations for hospitals in the South Florida area.

Additionally, Tom was the Senior Construction Manager for HCA Healthcare Corp. Tom’s role at HCA was overseeing all Capital growth projects for the company’s three divisions in Florida. Tom’s dual skill sets both in Hospital Operations and the Healthcare Design and Construction industry have served him well.
