Council Events

The success of our events relies on members contributing program and speaker ideas, submitting published research and sharing best practices. We convene steering committees at the end of each year to develop content. We welcome and appreciate your participation.

The Annual Membership Luncheon

This annual event offers attendees perspective on healthcare business trends and their impact on North Texas. We draw from national speakers to bring expert opinions to the average 350 attendees each year. At this event our Board of Directors for the following year is confirmed and members can learn about upcoming activities and how to be more involved.

Southwest Healthcare Transactions Conference

In Late April, the Council hosts the premier forum for healthcare providers, capital sources and their advisors to discuss the opportunities and challenges of succeeding in the healthcare marketplace. Top performers in the healthcare deal community from across the nation gather to share the latest strategies, trends, and approaches to creative deal making. This is the venue in the Southwest for peer to peer networking among healthcare company executives and the providers of capital and advisors who support their dealmaking.

Transitions of Care Conference

Each Fall, this two day conference concentrates on providing expert educational resources and creating action plans to improve the transitional process from an acute-care setting to what’s next. This is the event for players involved in home health, LTAC, Assisted Living, Hospice, Rehab and much more to connect with one another and with the acute care and insurance executives they desire to meet.

Health Strategies Roundtable

Each year we plan a minimum of two roundtable events. The purpose is to educate health industry players as well as non-healthcare attendees on trends and innovations in quality, delivery, technology and academics, while highlighting the value of the resources available in North Texas.
